Dr. Leonard.E. Lockman

    Dr.Lockman is the medical director of the St.Vital Family Medical Clinic. He has been in active clinical family practice for the past 22 years. He graduated from the Natal University of South Africa (presently known as the Nelson Mandela School of Medicine) in 1986, with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery degree (MB.CHB). Whilst in Family Practice in South Africa, he also obtained a Postgraduate degree/ Masters degree in Family Medicine - M.FAM.MED (SA) - from the University of the Free State (SA) in 1994. He emigrated to Canada in 1996 and started active family practice first in Newfoundland, then British Columbia and now Manitoba since 1997. He completed his Canadian Qualification Exams in 1999 and obtained his Certificate of the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CCFP) in the same year. In 2010,he became a Fellow of the College of Family Physicians of Canada(FCFP). Dr.Lockman is both an active member of the Canadian College of Family Physicians of Canada and is an Examiner for the College. Dr. Lockman has a Special Interest in Insurance and Medicolegal Medicine and in this respect completed a three year diploma at the University of Montreal in 2011.

Dr. M.S.A. Ghoneim

MB.ChB, D.C.H, CCFP

    Dr. Ghoneim has been an active family physician for approximately 30 years. He graduatedfrom the Faculty of Medicine, Alexandria University, Egypt with a Bachelor of Medicine and surgery degree (MB.ChB).Whilst in family practice, he also obtained a Diploma of Child Health(D.C.H) at the Royal College of Ireland.

Upon emigrating to Canada, he completed his residency at the Faculty of Medicine of Manitoba.He also obtained his certificate of the College of Family Physicians of Canada(CCFP).Since then has been a part of many refreshing courses such as Advanced Trauma Life Support, Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.

During his work in Manitoba, he has had a long experience with inpatients, outpatients, pediatrics, prenatal delivery and post-natal patients. He is well experienced in minor surgeries and circumcision. Furthermore he has had a good experience in treating geriatric and psychiatric patients.

Dr. Nazmun. N. Bhuiyan

MBBS. LMCC. MD. CCFP

    Dr. Bhuiyan qualified with an MBBS in 1998. She completed her LMCC (Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada) and then CCFP (Certificate of the College of Family Physicians of Canada). She practiced with the Northern Medical Unit (University of Manitoba) from July 2007 to present; covering Northern nursing stations and providing Emergency Medical Services to Northern Communities. She has also worked in Morris, Manitoba as well as the Windsor Park Clinic in Winnipeg.

Dr. Riviraj Warnakulasooriya

MBBS. MSc (Applied Psychology). CCFP

    Dr. Rivi has been working at the St. Vital Family Medical Clinic since November 2013. He graduated as a medical doctor in 1990 (Sri Lanka) and practiced as a family physician since then. He and his family immigrated to Canada in April of 2005. Upon successfully completing the Canadian medical examinations, he also completed a residency program in medicine for International Medical Gradates in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Manitoba. As a physician, he has been serving to rural, Northern and urban/sub-urban Manitobans. He worked in the Ashern Hospital, Pinamootang Nursing station and Teulon Hospital.  In addition to family practice, he enjoys doing inpatient care and emergency medicine. He concurrently works as an ER physician in the Ashern Hospital and as a hospitalist in Steinbach Hospital. He provides care to walk-in patients visiting our clinic.

Dr. Abid Iqbal Malik

MBBS.MD.CCFP

    Dr. Malik obtained his MBBS in 1998 in Punjab, Pakistan. In 2013 he became a certificant of the College of Family Physicians of Canada. He started family practice in 2012 in Canada, first in Hodgson, Manitoba and afterward he moved to Winnipeg. He has been associated with the St.Vital Medical Clinic since February 2014.

Dr. Navneet Singh Rehsia

MD.CCFP

    Dr. Rehsia qualified in India in 1996. He has been practicing as a family physician in Manitoba since July 2012. He became a certificant of the College of Family Physicians of Canada in May 2012. He has been associated with the St. Vital Family Medical Clinic since April 2014.
